Plumbing 4 Less was started by Brian, a time‑served plumber from Workington. After years on the tools and a spell at Sellafield, Brian decided to go out on his own. With a van, a box of spanners, and a simple promise – fair prices, honest work, no corners cut – he started taking on jobs across West Cumbria.
Brian’s dad was a tradie, so the work ethic runs deep. From the first dripping tap to full bathroom refits, every job was done the same way: listen to the customer, do the job properly, and leave the place spotless. Word spread, and that one‑man operation slowly grew.
A Growing Business
As the phone kept ringing, Brian’s wife took over the paperwork and scheduling. The kids started answering calls after school. And Elvis, the family dog, claimed his spot in the van as official mascot. Today, Plumbing 4 Less is a proper little family‑run business – still small, still personal, but now big enough to cover all of West Cumbria reliably.
